Our mission is to actively recruit, support, and empower qualified minority individuals in the criminal justice field. The members of ABLE are dedicated to improving our skills and strengthening our relationships through three core principles: member recruitment and retention, fostering bonds and mentorship, and active community involvement.

At ABLE, we are committed to promoting a positive image of law enforcement personnel within the community. We have forged partnerships with organizations that invest in the growth of youth and communities of color. Since our inception, ABLE has been providing mentorship, career guidance, training, and networking opportunities to our members. Today, we take pride in continuing this tradition by offering bimonthly training sessions and hosting our Annual Criminal Justice Conference, which caters to high school seniors, college students, and criminal justice employees from the courts, corrections, and law enforcement. Our goal is to attract capable candidates from the African American community and beyond to pursue careers in law enforcement and the broader criminal justice sector, all while supporting those currently employed in these fields.
